IBDP-MYP Visual Arts, IGCSE Art & Design Teacher
I am responsible for the teaching and learning process at MS-HS Level (Grades 7-12) according to IBDP-MYP and Cambridge Curriculum.
Responsibilities:
• Design, prepare and deliver a high-quality curriculum for grades within the IB framework to suit the individual needs of all students
• To prepare and implement the IBDP-MYP Visual Art curriculum for students, with the goals of helping students to develop confidence and proficiency in the subject as well as preparation for success in the IBDP and Cambridge examinations
• Nurture meaningful relationships with students and provide the individual attention they need and ensure lessons are differentiated to meet the needs of all students, like providing individual teaching support.
• Assess and monitor student progress and provide targets so that all learners can see success and improve incessantly
• Liaise with the Visual Arts Department, IB-Cambridge Curriculum Coordinator, Senior
• School Supervisor and Principal to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum to specified classes.
• Supervising Visual Arts Extended Essay, CAS, PP, and collaborating with other teachers to deliver IDU
• Participate in school activities outside regular school hours, like conducting Gallery visits, Fine Arts workshops with local and international artists, regularly, etc.
